Who We Are
Red Top Market opened its doors in 2020 as part of the Gooding Farm family, and we’re excited to be celebrating our 6th summer serving our community.
Each season, we proudly offer fresh, locally grown produce and handcrafted goods from our amazing local farmers and vendors.
Supporting our neighbors and community is at the heart of everything we do — Go Wildcats!
This year, we’re expanding our garden and can’t wait to share an even wider variety of homegrown produce with you. From juicy tomatoes and sweet peppers to fall favorites like squash and pumpkins, there will be something new to enjoy all season long.
Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for seasonal events, specials, and updates, or visit our Events page to see what’s coming up for the 2026 season.
We look forward to welcoming you to the market!
Where it all started
Gooding Farms is a sixth-generation, family-run agricultural operation with roots dating back to 1895, when Nick Gooding first grew hops in Oregon’s Willamette Valley.
Over the decades the farm evolved, moving to southwest Idaho in the mid-1940s and expanding its acreage and expertise under successive generations of the Gooding family. Through innovation—from early mechanized baling to GPS-mapped hop fields and Global GAP certification—the farm has grown into one of the region’s premier hop producers while diversifying into regenerative agriculture.

In 2020, Gooding Farms opened Red Top Market to serve the community with fresh food and farm products, while continuing to cultivate hops, grains, livestock, and cover crops with a focus on sustainability and local connection.
